The Girl who Cried Gnome
Episode: 23A, Original Air Date: Not Aired
The Girl who Cried Gnome

Moofy the Girly Ranger comes to try to sell cookies to Zim and gets trapped in a burrow made by Zim's robot gopher. She ins't really trapped or harmed in any way, but since she's a cute kid the media immediately shows up to capitalize on her ordeal. Zim quickly realizes that having the media in front of his house is probably a bad thing, but as the situation escalates he finds that he can't really control it. After Mr. Presidentman shows up from Presidentland Zim realizes he can use this to his advantage…but so does Dib. Eventually Zim is forced to save Moofy himself to save his base…which must have made him very angry since Moofy was somewhat annoying.

My Favorite Moments:

In general this episode was good social satire - the way the press, government and safety workers all preened for the cameras while overplaying the danger of poor Moofy was both amusing and somewhat frightening.

Least Favorite Moments:
I don't really like Zim's new puffy human disguise and I think this episode is the first one he uses it in. Were those ninja cookies embedded in Dib's head?
