The Sad, Sad Tale of Chickenfoot
Episode: 18B, Original Air Date: 4/12/2002
The Sad, Sad Tale of Chickenfoot

The Sad, Sad Tale of Chickenfoot is a mystery piece which features Dib trying to figure out if the reputed mystical monster Chickenfoot actually exists. Dib was trying to show Chickenfoot was a hoax in order to get people to focus on 'real paranormal problems'.

After some sleuthing Dib learns that Chickenfoot is really a man who is trapped in a promotional costume but is too stupid to realize that the zipper is stuck. When Dib frees / cures him and the people realize that Chickenfoot was in fact not a supernatural monster, they go on to assume that ALL paranormal stories probably have logical and natural explanations and aren't all that supernatural after all (much to Dib's chagrin).

This is my LEAST favorite episode.

My Favorite Moments:

There wasn't too much that I liked in this episode. If I have to pick a favorite moment (and I guess I do) I'd say the end when people tell Dib that since Chickenfoot has been solved that all paranormal encounters must have logical explanations.
Dib doesn't deal with criticism too well.

So you see Chickenfoot is a normal, stupid human.

Chickenfoot!
Chickenfoot!
Least Favorite Moments:
I really didn't like TurkeyNeck - the image he portrayed was both disturbing and weird. I also missed Zim and GIR a bit - generally speaking I don't like the Dib - only episodes as much.
