In Bestest Friend Zim
realizes that having no friends marks him as an eccentric - and fearing that being singled out as having no friends makes him more susceptible to discovery he decides to get a friend. The friend selection process is pretty amusing as he forces friend candidates to run a gauntlet of painful tests to prove their worthiness. Of course, his chosen friend, Keef
, is much more interested in being Zim's
friend than Zim
is in having Keef
as a friend. The episode wraps up with a fast-paced montage showing Keef
and his attempts to throw a party for Zim
in his lab trying to avert said party.Keef
seems to be killed off at the end of this episode, but you still see him in the background of other episodes and I read that Keef
was supposed to come back in season two.
My Favorite Moments:
The friend selection and testing process was pretty hilarious, but I think that the funniest thing in this episode has to be GIR
working with Keef
to throw the party for Zim
. "That boy loves you SO much!"
