Earth's greatest scientist and Dib's father. Professor Membrane has a certain celebrity / cult status on Earth though he is an inattentive parent at best. Membrane has his own television show - Probing the Membrane of Science and he has a switch in his house that turns the power back on for the entire planet.
We are never really given any information on a mother for Dib and Gaz and it seems unlikely that Membrane had a wife (judging by his behaviour anyway) leading some to speculate that Dib and Gaz were created in one of Membrane's many experiments.
Some of Membrane's inventions are: SuperToast, the Perpetual Energy Generator (PEG), a remote controlled Nano-capsule and many others. | |
